So the ultimate winner is not decided by their success in the final task but by how they fare during this probationary stint with "Lord Tate of Lyle" (good name :D ) I did not know that!

DO you think that guy tries to be deliberately abusive as some sort of stress test on the interviewees? I don't think many people get interviewed like that in real life :D Did you see him dismissing a proffered handshake from one of the Apprentices? I think it was Baggs. I thought Claude Litner#'s ...

I thought Melissa embodied incompetence, how they won I'll never know. The PM of the other team actually started quite impressively. I don't think enough was made of how the team at the bakery let them down.

"Punch-in-the-face awful" 8-D Stella did do well I thought and yes she should have stuck to her guns and let the other guy do the pitch. The "book-eze" thing was just dreadful, I thought. I'm repeating what I wrote in the SIT, but I thought Laura would be fired for refusing exclu...

Re: The Times review of the Apprentice 7/10/10

The Apprentice, now in its sixth series, misses out on a fifth star only because we so miss Margaret, off studying civilisations even older than Amstrad. Her successor spy Karren Brady made some acute observations about the boys’ intolerable testosterone levels but she doesn’t wither my googies in ...

So, Dave is in essence a cut-price John Crowder. It is so obvious it is quite embarrassing - the speech patterns are the same, the fake laugh, a kind of breathless drunkenness, and even some of the words and outbursts are the same. I don't want to judge John Crowder, in his quiet moments I could get...
