Just how not bothered was David?

You may or may not have noticed in yesterday's highlights David had a bit of bother, or did he? Perhaps he wasn't bothered by the bother, perhaps he was. I couldn't be bothered to work out what bothered state David may be in so I am afraid I am going to have to bother you to help me get to the bottom of whether David is bothered.
