Limp, dull non-entity?

I can understand why BB didn't select Mario as a housemate, he seems to be limp, flaccid, devoid of character and one of life's followers.
He is ok morally, but he is a bit of a dullard and he can't even run in urgent situations.
He doesn't offend anyone because he says nothing sharp enough from which anybody could ever take offence.
He is the classic case of an hm flying under the radar by simply avoiding controversy.
