Quentin Letts has sympathy for John Bercow much against his natural inclinations.

I think he makes a number of very good points about the bint.
She really is desperate for the limelight. Her behaviour in the house is, as many predicted, less than dignified. Her little tantrum at the American woman's cooking had all the hallmarks of a brattish teenager, in fact, on further consideration, she almost always behaves like a brattish teenager.
