Endemol's claim to have been fair in the coverage of Coolio's behaviour is outrageous. They clearly suppressed lots of vital coverage.

Yes I thought when I watched that, that C4 have just put out the standard explanation. As far as people being able to make up their own minds by watching live feed or E4, people who did watch live feed posted on DS to say that there had been sound dips during those bits. The thing is, there was obviously a problem with Coolio. The section of his session in the Diary Room that appeared on the highlights show referred to a sequence of events if I remember, which at the time made me think that there was much more that hadn't been shown. But to not show any of it, other than Coolio hiding Nadia's shoes, does indicate that the producers are trying to withhold the entire situation from the public, not that they're having a problem fitting 24 hours of events into 1 hour.

It's unclear whether Coolio was under pressure to leave and whether he'd have been directly asked to leave had he not opted to do so 'voluntarily'. He didn't seem willing to change his behaviour to Nadia. I imagine if C4 had tried to withhold his fee he'd have engaged lawyers! He was certainly there on finals night and also at the wrap party I think, which doesn't indicate that he was in disgrace with Channel 4 (although Emily Parr was also at the wrap party for her year, but not the final). Whilst we know how obnoxious Coolio can be, and it's entirely believable that he abused Nadia as she claims, I'm always wary of jumping to conclusions about events when we're only hearing one side of the story - and that from someone who I suspect is very invested in having her version of reality acknowledged to save facing the underlying reasons for the crowd's boos, which were her own aggressive and insensitive behavour (which incidentally was exactly the same on 'Come Dine With Me' when she launched off at Brian Belo over an innocuous comment he made). However when the housemates were explaining Coolio's depature to Vanessa Feltz when she entered the house, their explanations apparently corroborated Nadia's account, as did an interview Makosi gave after leaving the house.

I used not to believe in conspiracy theories when fans would claim that certain housemates were getting a bad edit, but with the total concealment of this footage and Channel 4/Endemol's complete failure to acknowledge that any major situation in the house had been withheld from the public, I'm reluctantly forced to believe in them after all!

All the evidence does, for once, favour the conspiracy theorists. As you say there was corroborating evidence from Makosi that is on record, and the evidence of many live feed viewers of Vanessa's entrance who heard hms describing Coolio's bad behaviour and the reasons for his eviction.

I agree that Nadia is determined to exploit Coolio's abuse and Ch4's protection of him to disguise her own failings and the real reasons she was evicted, which were that she is obnoxious, aggressive and utterly unappealing.

I can only presume that Endemol wanted to avoid being accused of portraying Coolio as the big bad black man, when that is exactly how the obnoxious git should have been relayed.

On the other hand, have you seen what Nick Bateman's tweeted today? I started a thread in the Nadia forum.
