Charlie has actually performed several redeeming acts in my view. He asked Kenneth to clarify want he meant by getting someone to deal with Bea and he then informed Bea about what had been said, he also informed Kenneth in the swimming pool that kenneth's flirting with Sophie was unacceptable behaviour for someone in a supposed relationship.
He is still a git, but he has to be commended.

Yes Flossie, I thought exactly the same thing.
Of course, he was met with the response that Kenneth had seen Karly flirting with Kris so it was tit for tat in his eyes. (He didn't say that but he meant that. He had decided she had been flirting also so shouldn't mind what he did).
I am glad though that Charlie has woken up and decided to inch away from Lisa's "wings" in order to spread his own and by that I mean he is more vocal with his opinions and not so worried about losing his childlike and playful character in the process.
