A question for Rodrigo fans (if there are any here).

What did you find so appealing about him and if he was your favourite.... why?

I have discovered that both Grace Dent and Davina are strong fans and on that basis am wondering if he appeals to the type of woman who doesn't want to feel "threatened" or challenged by a man.

He looks like a child and smiles like a baby! Sorted. Those attributes guarantee appeal to some women.

Well that comes under my "non threatening" and unchallenging analysis doesn't it?

Is there no other reason?

Well it is more than just unthreatening, some women are attracted to such traits.

.. because of what they represent.. keep up Flossie ;) . Smooth skin is representative of the pre pubescent boy who has not yet burgeoned into man hood and so does not yet carry with him the unmistakable responsibilities that brings.
Some women can't cope with straight male desires, finding them a burden and wanting to keep them under wraps whereas gay men are free to be as sexual as they please without being condoned, ditto women.
However, he is homosexual, so will never have that same criteria so will forever be the non threatening, non sexual boy to those woman as he will never impinge on their own sexuality or make them feel rejected by his lack of desire for them wheras a young, straight boy would soon make them feel old and unattractive.

I think even if he were hetrosexual his childish mannerisms and baby-like appearance, such as his smooth skin, would still appeal to a large section of the female audience who want to mother him.

Mmmmmm probably, but it wouldn't be such a fervent desire. A young straight male won't take to pampering and mothering like Rodrigo.
They want to put him in their handbags.

I hope you're not doing a "George Lamb" on me Image

Anybody who has a favourite housemate they have backed throughout is quite obviously "fervent" about them.
